Water & Sewer Service Connection
With the exception of the Water Sewer Application for Subdivision Only, all other service connections need to be manually calculated by the department staff. Contact the Water & Sewer Department at (616) 896-8376 or email for all connection requests or changes in service.

Power and Streetlight Outages
Is a streetlight burned out or flickering in your neighborhood? Or are you experiencing a power outage? Report these concerns directly to Consumers Energy’s online Outage Center or by calling 1-800-477-5050. The Outage Center is an easy and effective way to report a power or streetlight outage, and check the repair status.
Gas, Electric, Cable or Telephone Concerns
Residents who have been unable to resolve gas, electric, cable or telephone complaints with their provider may file an inquiry or complaint with the Michigan Public Service Commission. The MPSC website also includes a current listing of video/cable providers in Michigan.
Internet service or satellite television complaints, and inquiries regarding the National Do Not Call Registry, should be directed to the Federal Trade Commission.
