NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
TO: CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF JAMESTOWN, OTTAWA COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., local time, the Planning Commission of the Charter Township of Jamestown, Ottawa County, Michigan will hold a special meeting at the Jamestown Charter Township Hall, 2380 Riley Street, Hudsonville, Michigan, 49426, to conduct a public hearing and hear and consider comments on the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Map of the Charter Township of Jamestown described below.
PLEASE TAKE ADDITIONAL NOTICE that on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., local time (or shortly thereafter) and during the Township Board’s regular meeting, the Township Board will conduct a public hearing and hear and consider comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Map of the Charter Township of Jamestown described below. The Township Board meeting will be held at the Jamestown Charter Township Hall, 2380 Riley Street, Hudsonville, Michigan, 49426.
Section 1
The proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Map, if approved, will change the zoning for that portion of land located in the Charter Township of Jamestown that is described as parcel number 70-18-15-300-025, located on the north side of Byron Road between 24th Avenue and 16th Avenue. The property is currently zoned as the AR Agricultural Rural Residential Zoning District and if the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Map is approved, the property would be zoned R-1 Residential Zoning District.

Any person interested in this matter may appear at either or both hearings in person or by agent or attorney. The proposed map amendment may be examined by any person at the Jamestown Township Hall. Written comments concerning this matter may be filed prior to each hearing with the Jamestown Charter Township Clerk, Jamestown Charter Township Hall, 2380 Riley Street, Hudsonville, Michigan, 49426, (Phone 616-896-8376), between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
